Robert Jens Rock is a sound engineer, musician and a producer. He is famous for the work that he has done for bands such as Metallica, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith as well as many other countless numbers of famous albums have also been produced by his hands. Bob Rock started off playing music with close friends shortly after he graduated from college. He started a band called Payola$, who became very well known in the 1980s because of their hit single "Eyes Of A Stranger" which was featured as the soundtrack in the film Valley Girl starring Nicholas Cage. After a bit of success with his band he also started to work as an assistant engineer at a studio called Little Mountain Sound in Vancouver city that became one of the most successful studios in Western Canada during the 70s, 80s and 90s (Wikipedia, 2013). Bob Rock worked under Bruce Fairbairn for several years before he finally got the chance to produce famous bands.
