powerless, but the extent to which either is affected may vary in different situations. Conflict may harm the powerless due
to the actual significance of the word powerless, meaning having no influence or say in the issue. At times however, the
powerful that usually have a greater control, may be affected just as much as the powerless. Furthermore, harm can be
emotional or physical, and thus the degree of harm varies from person to person.
The powerful tend to have some control in times of conflict, however at times; this power is not enough to eliminate all
harm from being inflicted upon such individuals or groups. When referring to being powerful in times of conflict, it is the
ability to influence or have an impact on the matter. This is without a doubt an advantage in some situations, where the
rich and most influential individuals have more of a say. However, in some circumstances, this power is irrelevant and
