Hamlet's revenge Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Hamlet’s Revenge “Hamlet” is a play written by William Shakespeare that follows the dramatic conventions of revenge tragedy. Hamlet finds himself in the situation that there is no justice can be found with a crime against his family. Since his father is murdered, the son has to seek the justice for his father death. However the murderer is above the law and he cannot bring the fair justice, Hamlet goes to seek the revenge for the death of his father. Revenge is a major theme in the tragedy of Hamlet which brings downfall on him for committing the revenge. The biggest circumstance on Hamlet starts at the scene when Hamlet meets the dead ghost of his father. His father ghost reveals the murderer of his death, his brother Claudius. The ghost wants Hamlet to revenge for his death. Being a good Christian Hamlet would not commit any crimes or kill anyone. He must bring the justice back to his father; however, he cannot seek the justice because Claudius is the king and he is the law. He must take the law on his own hands.
