Bipolar Disorder (Manic Depressive) Do you know someone who can go from upbeat attitudes to down in the dirt depression? If so than you might have just witnessed one millions of Americans that suffer Bipolar Disorder. Periods of highs and lows are called manic and depressive. During periods of highs a person with Bipolar can soar in the clouds like a bird, they could go days without ever needing sleep and vastly over estimate there true abilities. While in their depression the person feels the exact opposite. They have trouble in the morning just getting out of the bed, they attention span is nothing of what it should be and the person cannot pay attention.
