Fuzzy-Logic in Eurology Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Der Begriff „Fuzzy-Mengentheorie“ wurde 1965 von dem sowjetischen Wissenschaftler Lotfi A. Zadeh zum ersten Mal in einer Publikation verwendet. Er sah ein, dass sich Mengen wie, „schöne Frauen“ oder „reelle Zahlen, die viel größer als eins sind“, nicht im gewohnten mathematisch-gruppentheoretischen Sinn klassifizieren lassen. Da Zadeh dennoch die Rolle solcher „unpräzisen“ Typen oder Klassen im menschlichen Denken erkannte, wies er ihnen den Namen „Fuzzy Sets“ zu, um sie mathematisch untersuchen zu können. Die Fuzzy-Logik basiert auf der Negation des „Satzes vom ausgeschlossenen Dritten“: Während in traditionellen, „scharfen“ Mengen ein Element entweder enthalten sein kann oder nicht, kann ein Element einer „unscharfen“ Fuzzy-Menge auch ein bisschen vertreten sein. Um dies zu illustrieren, möchte ich zunächst die „Paradoxie des Barbiers“ anführen, die auf den walisischen Mathematiker B.
