While reading the novel On The Road by Jack kerouac, a character named Dean portrays several different images through out the book. In the beginning he started off as a character who was awful and did things like steal cars and drive girls up to the mountains and later have his way with them (kerouac 24). Deans father way an alcoholic, jailbird, bum who was a wino. When Dean was a kid he used to steal money for him father a sneak it into the jail for him. Dean has been a trouble maker since he was a kid due to him lack of upbringing by his parents. His mom died at a young age and his only brothers from his moms side. The Introduction of Dean was a kid with no direction and no future headed straight to jail just like his father.
While reading the novel Dean comes off as a dirty guy who doesnt seem to care about his image or anything else besides his women and his friends (Kerouac 24). This is mainly because Dean has been on his own since he was a kid and know he doesnt know any better so he thinks its ok to do whatever he wants. Also Deans friends like Sa......
