When it comes to spending money, it is no suprise that the youth of "the land of the free" consumes the largest amount of money. So what exactly is it that we find so compelling and worth spending the cash on, and why is it so hard to save? Market research suggests that African-American teens spend six percent more a month than the average American teen because of the heavy emphasis put on trendy, high-end clothing, jewelry and footwear.This year, thousands of senior high school students will buy a $70 pair of shoes before paying a $35 fee to apply for an college.......
