Plato, one of the most influential minds in western philosophy. Plato followed the basic ideas of Socrates, in which no laws are to be broken despite their relevance. He makes it clear as to why laws should be followed and why disobedience to the law is rarely justified. In the book entitled, The Republic, Plato describes ideas about a perfect society and its citizens whom lived within that society and how they should act. He believed in having an ideal city which required having a just soul. As we all know, a city is formed by individuals. Within and throughout these individuals, relationships will form. Based on the level of each individual relationship, a persons character can be examined of whether he/she is just person. A city needs its people, for whom these are the ones who truly govern it. Platos idea of the city being divided into three entities is absurd. In my opinion, Platos analysis of human nature is very true.
