Expansion of the United States Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Throughout the late nineteenth-century and early twentieth century the United States expanded into both political and social power. Although the growth of the United States increased into a dominant nation it was not a mutual decision of the main concept of expansionism. While those who opposed fought for the cause, the U. S continued to extent into a strong principal country. The United States extended political, demonstrating a set central government; having congress point direct subject to benefit expansionism. Hence, the Homestead Act, the Kansas- Nebraska Act, and purchases that allowed more territory under the United States, which gave an aftermath of the Alaska- Seward Purchase and the Gadsden Purchase. Ongoing with political supremacy, social influence came into place contributing into the economy. Railroads that helped in social transportation aided into economic needs leading to the Mining Bonanza and trading corporation with China in the sphere of influences.
