Parents vs. Potter: The Parental Outcry Potter mania has caused a lot more than crowds at the local Barnes & Noble. Many parents as well as Christian leaders are protesting the existence of these books in schools and libraries, because of their “forceful” occult themes. Sighting, a track record of children’s susceptibility to bad influences, these community leaders have waged full war-like tactics against Rowling’s books.
