One who values his relationship with his family and act justly upon deciding his family outcome is ultimately a family man. A family man is the leader of his household and the protector of his familys well being. A family man will do anything and everything to protect his family from all harm. An individuals relationship with his family displays the strengths and flaws of a characters personality. The motives of a family man shows the characters intent to provide a better or worse life for his family. An individuals actions show what the individual would or would not do in order to teach their family about the life. The outcome of family man is decided by the strength of his relationship within the family, his intention for good of the family and his actions to desire a better life for him and his family.
In contrast to that, the character of King Lear from Shakespeares King Lear and the character of Gloucester shows the elements of a family man. The characters of Lear and Gloucester try to gain the unconditional love of their families.......
