Saturday Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
I can have the worst day of my life but everything changes when I get to the
beach. I spend most of my Saturdays at the beach where my problems are put on hold
while I drift away from reality. Early dawn on a Saturday morning, as the sun rises from
the distant blue ocean, my friend and I wait for daylight. We sit down on the beach; as I
focus closely on the surface of the waterfront the sand is very white, much like winter
snowflakes. As I look along the different points along the shore, the waves and ripples of
the salty water crash upon various sections of the beach. These include a teenager section
and a family section. My friend and I unfold our garden chairs and open our cooler box in
the adolescent section of the beach.
After putting on our sunglasses and sun block lotion, we pop open
some cold beverages from a can. We then recline back in our chairs to take in the clear,
deep blue sky, the sea-green ocean, the red-hot sun and white sand. The pleasantly
refreshing smell of the surf breaks through the scent of the ocean ......
