The faces of Mount Rushmore consist of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Our four great presidents that helped make this nation what it is today. Third from the left we have Theodore Roosevelt, a man who was involved in everything he did, who changed the way of life forever in the U.S today. Whenever TR saw something that needed to be changed he changes it, either with himself or the world.
Theodore Roosevelt was born to a wealthy Dutch family on October 27, 1858 in New York City. He was the second born of four children to father Theodore and Martha Roosevelt. Theodore was the first son and was given his fathers first name. The children ranged from Anna the oldest, then TR, Elliott and lastly Corinne, Out of all the children Theodore, hade the most to overcome, because of his illness.
Theodore was a sickly child who suffered from asthma, which is no big deal to us now, once was. This made it difficult for TR to do many things. At first he attended individual or small group schooling because of his health. But as he got older he didnt l......
