The Maturing of Huckleberry Finn Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

In “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”, written by Mark Twain, there is a lot of ways in which Twain tries to help the reader understand how the education process worked in the 1850s. He does this through the eyes of an orphan, Huck, and his road along the Mississippi River. Along the river, Huck learns a great deal about the equality of mankind and what life is really all about. Although there are a lot of events in which Huck learns from; there were 3 real big events in which contribute most to Huck’s education. Three events when Huck learns about life the most are the wrecked boat, when he becomes acquainted with the king and duke, and lastly, when he stays with the Grangerford’s for a little while. When Huck and Jim come upon a wrecked boat, they find 2 robbers who threaten to kill another one; before the 2 could kill the third one the 2 flee. When Huck found out that the two threatened the other one, Jim and him took two boats to go to shore and told on the robbers.
