A tragic hero is considered to need a moment of emotional purgation, but it comes at a time when it is too late to change the course of events already in motion.A tragic hero must neither be an evil villain nor a great hero, instead the tragic hero must be either a flawed hero or a villain with some good traits. The tragic hero also must have a fatal flaw. This fatal flaw is the cause of the person's downfall.
