My Block
IS THAT GUY DEAD? Oh never mind, its just Valentino, the town drunk. Anyways, follow me as I take you for a walk around my block, and show you some diversity. Its alright, just step over Val, he wont bother you as long as you dont wake him up. The first thing you should know is that there are several different sections of my neighborhood: the Brazilian section, the Puerto Rican section, the Italian section, the Irish section and lastly the Portuguese section. The Portuguese, Brazilians, and Puerto Ricans make up most of the neighborhood.
As you begin to walk through the fenced in community, you will pass by the big sign that says Welcome to the Heights, as it barely stands on its worn out wooden legs. Once you enter, you will notice that it resembles the projects in Boston, but trust me, there not as bad. All the apartments are red bricked and broken down, and as you walk from one end to the other you can smell all types of different foods. There are rows and rows of these apartment buildings, and at the beginning, in front of the first building is our bask......
