Personal Moral Ballpark Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Personal Moral Ballpark Moral ballpark, anything that can be open to moral assessment, that is, can be said to be morally good or morally bad. Wow, thatÂ’s a broad topic so that is why I am going to use these four elements of the moral ballpark to help me explain my personal ballpark. I will start with moral language, and go from categorical principles to societal recognition ending up with suffering. Also I am going to tie in the movie clip from Return to Paradise and the way I would react to the situation they have at hand. My moral language, I have been receiving arbitrary signals all my life from everything around me that have had a role in shaping my morality. These signals coming from my parents in how they raised me and from the church that I grew up in, also coming from other sources like the media, school and friends. These signals have come to shape what I think is appropriate or inappropriate. For example, in the clip we saw in class I think that it is inappropriate for a man to hang for having a little hash in his possession, I think you should forgive and let live. S......
