The horn goes off for half time the score 9-6. This was the closest score
weve had all season. We are playing Shen. She was the second place team and
we are the last place team in the suburban council. This looked like the
turn around point for our season. Even though we have yet to win a game and
didnt beat Shen this time. This game proved that as a team we are better
than we thought.
Leading up to game time today I spent a lot of time by myself focusing and practicing. Knowing that this was going to be the biggest game of the season for me. It was my first night game as the teams starting goalie and only my forth game of the season. I spent the first for weeks of the season with a broken thumb and started playing again before it was healed and I was cleared by my doctors. I started the season as the back up goalie that couldnt play due to my injury. However I can back from the injury reserve list two weeks early when the starter separated his shoulder mid game.
