Baseball for many Americans is a way of life. My brother is no exception. Currently
my brother plays for an AAU baseball team known as the South Coast Renegades. This
summer he played over 75 games including a National tournament at the world famous
Cooperstown, NY Baseball Hall of Fame.
The championship game in Cooperstown, NY was remarkable. The sun beating down
on my baseball hat, the wind flowing all around my face, and the smell of ballpark
hotdogs cooking on the grills is vivid in my mind. There was a tingling in the air.
Anyone unfamiliar with sports wouldnt have known what it was, but I knew. It was a
championship game. That tingling was the excitement from the crowd, and the
adrenaline from the players. It was flowing like electricity through the air. I was nervous
for my brother.
I found my seat, the same one I had sat in for the previous three games. My seat was
on the 3rd base line, a few seats to the left of the Renegades dugout. From this vantage
