The State of Hawaii is one of the highest taxed states in the United States of America. Some people believe that Hawaii is worth paying for because it is paradise, and being able to live in paradise is not cheap. However, some also believe that there is a limit on taxing the people of Hawaii. House Bill 1309 of Hawaii is a bill that will pass the implementation of Light Rail Transit in Oahu. The purpose of this bill is to find an alternative way to alleviate traffic congestion in Oahu. Of course, it will also increase the taxes in Hawaii even more. It will have a positive effect on some companies and businesses here in Hawaii. However, it will have minimum positive effects and results that are more negative in Hawaiis economic position. The people of Hawaii are already over-taxed and they do not need Democrats to tax them even more because of a bill that will not be effective for Hawaii residents.
