Almost all of my friends have brothers and sisters around their age, and over the years I have gotten really jealous of that fact. All of my brothers and sisters are in their thirties and have started families of their own. Theyve grown up in a different era than me, and there is definitely a difference in our opinions and interests. Even the youngest of all my older siblings is sixteen years older than me! Then, during my junior year of high school, I realized that I had a family that I had never really taken notice of before that gave me comfort and a sense of unity.
I became part of the Marching Band my sophomore year, and I couldnt ever think of giving it up. Well, there were plenty of times when it got difficult. Sharing a field, room, or bus with one hundred people can start to wear on ones nerves when there is heat and bugs. There was tension and arguments that sometimes lasted for the entire season. Most of the time, I was talking about how much I wanted to quit or drop the class because it got so tough to deal with all of the different personalities and clashi......
