In the Eber’s Papyri, a manuscript from Egyptian times in 3700 B.C., toothaches and sore gums were written about. 3000 years ago, the Chinese society was concerned with their own teeth and gums. In the Chinese manuscripts from 3000 years ago, 9 dental aliments were found and the prescriptions that were prescribed for them. Pertrified skulls from these ancient times showed decay being present. Also skulls from Giza Pyramids showed signs of tooth decay. All men from 20,000 B.C. suffered their share of dental aliments. The first known dentist was Egyptian, Hesi-Re. ( 3000 B.C.) Also a physician, he indicated an associatio......
