Narrative of Typical Day
A typical day in the working field of film editing consists of, editing through video clips to form the most interesting compilation. Although conditions are mostly ideal the stamina to withstand bright stage lights, long irregular hours, and travel is necessary. Film editors work under the direction of directors so it is vital to be able to except criticism and follow directions (Motion). Working in groups, on projects, is very common so it is important to be able to communicate clearly. Usually the job requires you to sit at a computer for long hours and stay focused to complete projects. Being precise is essential in order to get the job done accurately (CIS).
