Trees Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Long ago when the Phoenicians lived in the land we now call Lebanon, they had no natural resources except for water. It was great compared to the surrounding lands, but they needed more food, and trees in order to chop them down and create useful objects.
Almost every Phoenician living there prayed to the nature God, Cedaro, for a gigantic forest full of strong, evergreen trees and many animals. From Cedaros point of view, none of the Phoenicians really wanted the forest for something good except for Arnolds Goody, all the others where selfish and wanted the trees for their own good. Arnolds was an intelligent young man who always prayed to Cedaro for the forest so he can build better houses, ships, and many more things for the people. Cedaro was sure that Arnolds was truthful because he had never told anybody about the plan and never bragged to anybody about the many good deeds he has done.
