May's Valley Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Its a place shadowed by deep snow covered mountains, flooded by endless rain. A valley filled with ongoing rice fields and patches of tiny homes. Gorge in the middle of the mountains of China, dug out my gods hands and watered with angels tears. A place a little girl named May called home. She knows no other place but here. Beyond the peaks of the mountains that hide beyond the clouds, is a world that May only dreams about, but has never seen. In her dreams she sees an endless lake that glimmers in the sun, with gigantic boats floating on the horizon, and silk white birds that sing a never ending song.
May is a dreamer, adventurer, just like her grandfather was. He was a solider for the Chinese government and he would tell her stories that would send chills up her spine and some that brought warmth to her heart. He passed away when she was 11 years old, her best and only friend who opened her eyes to a world she one day would hope to see. All that is left of him now is the memories that she keeps locked away and a simple straw hat that he would wear every day in the rice fi......
