Jane Austen Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Jane Austen Thesis Jane Austen is an important writer of the early 1800's that uses her writing to point out the social views of the time. All of Jane Austen's novels seem to have the important themes of social status and romance, or love. In her books Jane Austen points out her views on these themes through her characters. All of these characters are different. Some are shown in a positive way and some in a negative way. Some are shown to lead happy lives and some are just plain unhappy. Some fall in love and some end up alone. But no matter what happens they all have one thing in common in that they help show Jane Austen's views on the society of her time. The first theme that Jane Austen shows an important opinion on in her books is social status. In each book she writes the class of the characters is established right away and this is often times an important part of the story.
